Xavier looked all over but could not find any orange towers today.
Now he is lost in the dark trying to find his way. In the old days people used the stars and moon to help guide their way, following a star or the moon or remembering where the sun would rise or set and use them as direction finders.
Perhaps he will try this next time.
Perhaps he will try this next time.

We are doing an experiment about forces
We fired off a water rocket. We put some water in it and some air. We pumped it up, and it went boom, it blasted off.
Caleb.
On Monday we find two air rocket and one water rocket, all of them were the same rocket but the water went further because the water made it have more pressure, which gave it more force. The sound went wwwwwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooosh.
Xavier.

Mr Betts has traveled far and below is the first clue for Xavier to use to try and catch up.
Follow the orange towers till you get to the one with the bed on it. Look for the pumpkin patch. And then find the tunnel down by the water and follow it to the treasure chest and I will give you the next clue.

Friction and forces, comparing surfaces.
Today we are experimenting friction between the carpet and the Lino by running and sliding on each surface. We found out that when you slide on the lino you go further than when you slide on the carpet. You slide further on smooth surfaces than rough surfaces.
