Forest Fire.

If this was a real forest fire what would you do?

Protect yourself from smoke!

Building a pool. Is harder than it looks.

Xavier and Mr. Betts built a swimming pool. Xavier then put in a lava apocalypse to keep the pool warm. But it all went to chaos! The lava set the trees around the pool on fire. The fire spread and Xavier caught fire when he tried to put it out. He poured on the fire and suddenly more chaos, as all the water spread all over the place and nearly went into the animal pen. 

Next time I think we should make a roof over the animal pen so the animals don't  drown.

Can you guess what the colour is?

It looks like the grass swaying in the wind.

It feels like a scaly dragon.

It sounds like a bristling wind .

It tastes like avocado.

It smells like fresh leaves.

What am I?

GREEN!

If I could be any animal I would be a.....

DOG.

I can annoy my owner and bark

 Everyday I can wake them up.

I can chase them all around the park

 and they will get tired.

Animals in minecraft

On our farm we are going to have:

Chickens

Chicks

Cows

Sheep

Pigs.

We use the animals to make a lot of things, like:

From chickens we get Food, eggs and feathers. 

From pigs we get food.

From cows we get food, milk, and leather.

From sheep we get wool and meat

Today we built our farm

We built a fence and we put a gate in so we can get in and out. 

I dug a hole and filled it with water so as you can see the animals can drink out of it.

Scribblenaughts is a game in the iPad that Xavier enjoys, but he has to get his work done first!

Reading today was about Levi and his messy room.

Xavier has struggled today to keep on task. But did some good work in his reading group.

I am finding out about Monarch Butterflies because Ms Snow gave one to me and I brought it home.

My finished cover

Today we have to do the cover page on my learning journal.

I am reading this book at reading time.

We looked up the book online to see what other people thought of the book.

When I get an Email Address I will make an Account.

Today we found a cave system with a river in it.

Xavier filled in the river so we can explore the caves once the house is finished. We went back to the house and built a fence around the outside and cleared the trees out from in front of the house so we could take this picture.

We really do need to make the kitchen next week as I am getting hungry. We will plant some carrots to make carrot cakes. We could also farm some sheep.

Today we built a library.

Week by week our Hobbit house takes shape.

We have about ten minutes a week to play and then we use the play as our writing starter.

Our Minecraft journey begins.
